My Process

My medium is digital collage. I use textures, archival images, family photos, found imagery and self portraiture to create unique faces and bodies. I take photos of textures and shapes weekly to build my library of images. The end result is a work of art comprised of 20-30 smaller images. It is then output as an archival pigment print on 100% cotton paper.

Bit by bit, as I had time. This piece took over a year.

I create the figures and rooms in separate files and then collage them together until I have a composition I like.

The ‘Doing” is my favorite part.

The details of process can provide a meditative state of mind that allows me to feel connected to the work.
